Aylesbury Estate Exhibition Project

‘As Here Becomes There’ – An Exhibition of work exploring Life and Living on the Aylesbury Estate.

The project is open to students who are resident on or around the Aylesbury Estate, SE17.

This project can be incorporated for students undertaking DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARDS, potentially fulfilling skill areas in Drawing, Model Construction, Painting and Design, Photography, Film and Video Making, Journalism, Newsletter and Magazine Production and Writing.

Further opportunities exist in this framework for:

Event management, peer education, promotion and PR, helping children, older people and people with special needs and tutoring.

The timetable for workshops will be:

Monday 20th January – Portrait Photography

Students will meet with esteemed Welcome Prize finalist, portrait photographer Alison Romancuzk

InSpire 5-7pm

Students will work with artists Mandy Payne and Harriet Hill developing a range of skills including drawing, printmaking, collage and stop frame animation.

February Half Term

Intensive 3-day Art Workshops
