Taste of the Past heritage gardening group - an InSpired to Grow project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. A weekly group gardening session for adults of any age, particularly with mental health and learning difficulties at InSpire on Thursday at 2pm – 4pm.

Activities have included practical gardening workshops, flower arranging, heritage gardening talks and chutney making and we have visited the South London Botanical Institute, the Southwark local history library and the Garden Museum.

We are currently on a winter break with a view to starting up again in April and continuing with practical gardening sessions, including planting a dye garden, tending to various local plots in The Monkey Park at InSpire, the Community Gardens on the Aylesbury Estate and at Chumleigh Gardens Burgess Park.
